INFORMATION

General

The Ship Defence run was unlocked on 14.08.2018. The run is accessible from level 90 on. All group members who wish to join must have the quest Meley's Trail completed. Each member also needs a Background.pngPassage Ticket.png Passage Ticket in their possession. The group leader can start the run by talking to in Cape Dragon Fire. The cooldown of re-entering the dungeon is 20 minutes.



Within 25 minutes, you must protect the Mast from destruction that is being attacked by monsters in a total of 4 waves. When you manage to kill 3 Hydra while the Mast is still intact, you succeeded the run. You can see the Mast's HP under your minimap.

The battle begins

  • The battle will begin when the group leader (noone else can do it) has interacted with . All party members must be present in order to start. From here on, you have 60 seconds to prepare yourselves before the ship sails. After that, you have access to the deck of the ship and the first monsters will arive.



  • First wave

Hold on for 120 seconds. Monsters will keep spawning and attack the Mast. Kill the monsters to prevent damage to the Mast. When the time has elapsed, there will be a 10 second pause before the second wave.

  • Second wave

To complete the second wave, you must kill Hydra, who is appearing in a hole just beneath the higher deck. During this wave, there is a movement speed debuff active.

  • Third wave

This wave is identical to the second wave, only there will be an attack speed debuff of 30%.

  • Fourth wave

This is a more complicated wave. You still need to kill Hydra to complete it, but more (distancing) monsters are appearing that deal high damage to the Mast. Also when Hydra reached 50% of its HP, there will be a debuff for 25 seconds that will remove all supporting effects. It's the same effect as Dispel. Once the debuff is over, it will repeat 10 seconds later untill Hydra has been killed.

Reward

  • Once the run was completed, the will appear that must be destroyed with a single hit. It will drop lot's of items including an Background.pngHydran Ring.png Hydran Ring, Background.pngHydra's Chest.png Hydra's Chest or the Background.pngNessie Egg.png Nessie Egg which is a Pet with the shape of Hydra. The use of Background.pngThief's Gloves.png Thief's Gloves are also affecting this drop!
  • A Portal will appear that can bring you to the new continent Harbour. You have 5 minutes to use the Portal, otherwise you will be teleported out.


Tips

Blue circle that appears when Hydra's Spawn is using their laser beam
  • The Hydra Egg only appears for few seconds. When you destroy this Egg, all monsters, except Hydra, are despawned.
  • If you step on a blue circle, the Hydra's Spawn will stop their laser beam attack for certain seconds.
  • If you kill the Hydra's Spawn, it will spawn a weak Repair Wood (Metin) which will drop Background.pngRepair Wood (Item).png Repair Wood. When you use it, it will restore 5% HP to the Mast, but you will be fainted for 5 seconds.


Scoring system

  • When you are in Harbour, you can see your ranking back when you talk with Warrior Statue. The ranking is based on time taken to complete the run. You will only be registered on the ranking board if you have successfully completed the run.
