If you choose release, you will either receive a buff or debuff:
Buff: For 60 minutes, your chance of catching rare fish is increased. A status icon will appear:
Debuff: For 5 minutes, your movement speed is decreased to 50
If you choose open, see below for a list of possible content
If you choose use as bait, you will receive a buff that further increases your chance of catching rare fish, even higher than the 60 minute-version above. This buff however, will last for 5 minutes.
