Rank System

  • The ranking system is split into three categories: positive, neutral and negative rank. These categories are split into nine different sections that run on a scale from -20.000 to 20.000.
  • You can view your current rank points by moving your cursor over your playername in the character UI (C)
Rank Rank Points
Chivalric 12,000 to 20,000
Noble 8,000 to 11,999
Good 4,000 to 7,999
Friendly 1,000 to 3,999
Neutral 0 to 999
Aggressive -1 to -3,999
Fraudulent -4,000 to -7,999
Malicious -8,000 to -11,999
Cruel -12,000 to -20,000

Positive Rank

  • There are three ways to obtain positive rank:
  • Killing Monsters within your level range (+/- 9 from your level). If the monster is of the same level or greater, more rank will be obtained.
  • Rank is also obtained automatically by keeping your character online and outside of any Safe Zones. When rank is positive or neutral, you will receive one rank point every two minutes.
  • The final way to obtain rank is by consuming items that will increase your rank. Using a Background.pngFruit of Life.png Fruit of Life will increase your rank by 2,000 points.

  • Having positive rank increases the possibility of dropping Items. Positive rank can also increase the success chance when you read a Background.pngSkill Book.png Skill Book or Background.pngSoul Stone.png Soul Stone:

Negative Rank

  • There are three ways that can make your rank negative:
  • The first is by attacking players from your own kingdom when your PvP settings are set on "Free". The chance of losing rank by this method is not guaranteed, but should it occur you will lose 2,000 rank points.
  • Rank can also be lost if you are in a Group with a player who kills another player from your kingdom. Again, the chance of losing rank by this method is not guaranteed, but should it occur you will lose 2,000 rank points divided by the number of players in the group.
  • The final way of losing rank is by reading a Background.pngSoul Stone.png Soul Stone, Background.pngSoul Stone+.png Soul Stone+ or Background.pngTalent Potion.png Talent Potion. If you read such an item whilst your rank is negative, you will lose double the amount of rank you would if your rank was positive.

  • There are a couple of options you have to regain neutral rank:
  • Stand outside of a Safe Zone. This way will give you 6 rank points per minute. A Background.pngSage King Symbol.png Sage King's Symbol doubles the amount of rank.
  • Fight monsters. A Background.pngSage King's Glove.png Sage King's Glove doubles the amount of rank.
  • Consume Background.pngZen Bean.png Zen Beans. This item increases your rank points by 500. Cannot be used if you have positive rank.
  • The Zodiac Temple is the perfect way to leave your character AFK (Away From Keyboard). Because in this map, although it has no safe zones, you cannot die by fighting.
  • You can attack players who have negative rank while they are in your own kingdom by setting your PvP mode to "Hostile". You won't lose rank yourself.

Side-effect of negative rank

  • You can add the 6/7 Bonus Damage is increased at lower rank points to your weapon or helmet. Your damage is increased by 1 to 5% depending how negative your rank is.
  • If a player is level 50 or above and has negative rank, there is a chance they will drop items they have equipped or in their Inventory when they are killed.
  • Negative rank can be hidden by using a Background.pngCloak of Secrecy.png Cloak of Secrecy. Using a Cloak of Secrecy will make the player's rank appear as neutral, however they can still drop items if killed.
  • In order to prevent items being dropped when killed, the player can equip a Background.pngLucy's Ring.png Lucy's Ring. If a Lucy's Ring is equipped and the player with negative rank dies, there is only a chance that the Lucy's Ring will drop.
