The horse will die if you do not feed it when needed. If the horse is dead, you can revive it by using a specific herb. The herb needed is dependant on the kind of horse. General

  • Traveling with horse is way faster than on foot. You can ride a horse from level 10. After level 25, you are able to start quests that will increase your horse level if you successfully perform the task. Each time you want to start a quest or collect seals, speak with .

  • You have to maintain your horse well if you want to keep it alive. It must be fed from time to time, give it some rest after a long walk and learn skills to better overcome enemies.
  • The maximum horse level is 40. You can view your horse level by opening the Skill table (press V) and look at the icon of the horse. This icon changes with certain level intervals (see picture right).
  • Horses must be summoned with a seal (more info available in each horse topic). But if you have not been prepared yet, the chance to summon a horse is low (10% by default). It can take some time to finally summon it. On the same Skill table, you will find Call Horse skill indicated with Call Horse.png. This skill can be read with Background.pngHorse Taming Manual.png Horse Taming Manual. The maximum level is 10, which will summon your horse 100%:

How to get a horse

  • From level 10, you have the ability to ride a horse.
  • The seal itself will last for 7 days. You can extend the time of the Appaloosa seal by giving an Background.pngPower Snack.png Appaloosa Snack (7d) to Stable Boy.




  • From level 25, you can start a horse quest by talking to Stable Boy. This horse will be permanent.

  • To get hold of the Background.pngHorse Picture.png Horse Picture, you must meet the following requirements:


  • Your first task is to eliminate 20 within 30 minutes. You can find this monster in each second town of the kingdom, as well from a spawn of Metin of Jealousy.
  • Only archers killed by you counts (eg Group has no effect).
  • When the quest is completed, go to Stable Boy. He needs 1 day to make the Horse Picture. Once the wait is over, grab the Horse Picture and you can ride a beginner's horse now!


  • You have a beginner's horse until horse level 10. To further improve the horse level, you need a Background.pngHorse Medal.png Horse Medal for each attempt. During these quests, you must start sitting on your horse and talk with Stable Boy. You are not allowed to step off your horse. If you do, the quest has failed and you have to wait 1 day before making a new try.
  • Until horse level 10, you have to ride to certain checkpoints on horse. The location and amount depends on horse level.
  • From horse level 7, the quest takes place in another map. Open the Quest menu and select the quest to accept the horse quest, it teleports you to the appropriate map:

  • The quest can still fail regardless of stepping off or not. Just keep trying. Return to the Stable Boy upon completing all checkpoints. If the quest was successful, your horse level increases and you have to wait 1 day for the next attempt.

  • After, visit the to get started. This quest can be immediately started upon reaching horse level 10.


  • To get horse level 11, your task is to eliminate 100 or within 30 minutes. These monsters can be found in Yongbi Desert or spawns from Metin of Shadow. It doesn't matter which monster of the two you kill, as long as the total outcome counts 100.
  • Unlike the beginner's horse exam, you are allowed to form a Group. As long as the one doing the exam is the group leader, all member's kills counts towards the counter.
  • When the quest is completed, go to Stable Boy. He needs 1 day to make the Armed Horse Book. Once the wait is over, grab the Armed Horse Book and you can ride a war horse now, which means you have unlocked fighting from your horse!


  • You have a war horse until horse level 20. To further improve the horse level, you need a Background.pngHorse Medal.png Horse Medal for each attempt. During these quests, you must start sitting on your horse and talk with Stable Boy. You are not allowed to step off your horse. If you do, the quest has failed and you have to wait 1 day before making a new try.
  • Until horse level 20, you have to kill certain monsters while sitting on your horse. Which monster and how many depends on the horse level:

  • To get horse level 21, your task is to eliminate 300 within 30 minutes. These monsters can be found in Demon Tower.
  • Unlike the beginner's horse exam, you are allowed to form a Group. As long as the one doing the exam is the group leader, all member's kills counts towards the counter.
  • When the quest is completed, go to Stable Boy. He needs 1 day to make the Military Horse Book. Once the wait is over, grab the Military Horse Book and you can ride a military horse now, which means you have unlocked skills for your horse! You will receive a Background.pngHorse Riding Manual.png Horse Riding Manual that can be used to improve these skills. More information regarding skills can be found below.


Increase military horse level
  • You have a military horse until horse level 30. To further improve the horse level, you need Background.pngFodder.png Fodder. Rather than completing tasks, you have to give experience (EXP) to your horse.
  • Go to Stable Boy and select 'Increase horse level' to bring the interface (see right).
  • Each fodder you give increases the horse's EXP with a random amount, between 200-300 EXP points.
  • Once you have reached the required EXP, you can attempt to increase its level. It requires 50 Background.pngFodder.png Fodder, Background.pngYang.png Yang (amount varies per horse level) and Background.pngGaya.png Gaya (in case leveling up failed - 50 Gaya until horse level 30 and 100 Gaya from thereon.):

  • To get horse level 31, your task is to eliminate 100 gnolls within 30 minutes. These monsters can be found in Gnoll Caves. It does not matter which monster you kill, anything counts.
  • Group ???
  • When the quest is completed, go to Stable Boy. He needs 1 day to make the Golden Horse Book. Once the wait is over, grab the Golden Horse Book and you can ride a mighty war horse now. The Stable Boy also gives you 50 Fodder. You can now learn a second horse skill!


  • The mighty horse war is the highest tier among horses. You can further level it up to level 40, which will increase your base stats and horse skill values.

  • When you ride your horse, your status points will be increased. The higher your horse level is, the higher the status points will be.
  • Only if you distributed your own status points or use items that have such a bonus on it exceeds the stats given from the horse, it will not be added up. Your own character level has no influence to the stats given from the horse.

Horse skills

  • From horse level 21, you are able to learn skills to your horse.
  • We split it up between active and passive horse skills.


Active horse skills

  • Every class has 3 active horse skills, except for Ninja's, they have a 4th skill:


  • Every class has its own animation for the Power Wave horse skill:


  • Horseback Slash.png Horseback Slash: You are able to run and attack at the same time. The biggest advantage from this skill is that you can slash through monsters, players or certain objects. Requires player level 50.
  • Horse Stump.png Horse Stump: Select a target and the horse will run and push the enemy. This will faint the target for certain seconds (similar as the Dash skill). Requires player level 52.
  • Power Wave.png Power Wave: You gather all your power and make an explosion, causing to knockback your surrounding enemies. Requires player level 55.
  • Horseback Slash.png Arrow Storm: Ninja's can hit up to 5 enemies at once to deal a powerful arrow attack (similar as the Arrow Shower skill). They have to wear a bow though. Requires ninja's player level 50.


  • You can access these skills by opening your skill tab (V), and select 'riding' next to your subskill name
  • The skills have to be at least level 1 to be able to use them. You have to invest horse skill points in order to do that.
  • You can earn horse skill points by reading Background.pngHorse Riding Manual.png Horse Riding Manual. You can read as many manuals until you have successfully read a book. Then the regular cooldown starts running just like Skill Books.
  • The maximum active horse skill level is M1, this requires 20 successfully read books per skill.
  • The higher the skill level, the lower the recharge time of the horse skill.
  • Skills can be placed and used in the Fast Access Field.


Passive horse skills

  • You can learn up to 2 skills for your horse, the first from horse level 21 and the second from horse level 31.
  • Horse skills can be learned by reading a Background.pngBackground.pngHorse Skill Book.png Horse Skill Book.
  • You cannot learn the skill twice.
  • Both horse level and horse skill level changes the value of the bonus.
  • Note that the bonus only works while on your horse.
  • You can remove a horse skill by talking with Stable Boy or your horse.
  • The horse skills are upgradeable to level 20. Each upgrade costs Background.pngYang.png 20.000.000 Yang and Background.pngGaya.png 1000 Gaya.
  • The table below displays all available skills and their values. For indication purposes, values here are based on horse level 40 and horse skill level 20:

  • Completed quests cooldown time can be lowered using Background.pngTime Spiral.png Time Spirals. [Needs confirmation!]
  • You can only do one horse quest a day. You can skip the cooldown by using Background.pngScroll of Forgetfulness.png Scroll of Forgetfulness only upon successfully completing a quest.
  • Horses must be fed from time to time. If you do not feed it, it will eventually die. You can see in each topic what horse type needs what food. When you summon your horse, a status icon will appear. Based on that, you know when to feed your horse:
  • Horse normal.png - No action needed
  • Hungry Horse.png - Needs food anytime soon
  • Almost Dead Horse.png - Needs food asap
  • Dead Horse.png - Horse is dead
  • You can revive your horse by giving the Stable Boy the correct Monkey Herb. These herbs can be gathered from bosses in the ape and gnoll dungeons.
  • If you sit too long on your horse, it will become tired. You cannot use your horse for a while. A status icon will be shown: Tired Horse.png
  • You can rename your horse by clicking on the horse while summoned. You need a Background.pngHorse Sugar.png Horse Sugar though.
  • In addition, when you ride your horse, your defence has been increased by 20 points!
  • The appearance of horses changes depending whether you are in a guild or not.
  • There are handy shortcuts you can use:
  • CTRL + B: Sends your horse away
  • CTRL + F: Feed your horse
  • CTRL + H or G: mount/dismount your horse
  • All bonuses and skills do also apply when riding Mounts!
